The Debt Diet
Oprah Winfrey has launched an amazingly powerful reality challenge! It is called the American Debt Diet. She has chosen three families who are heavily in debt and three financial experts to help them get out. The objective behind this campaign is to show Americans what they are doing to their future, their relationships, and most importantly to themselves when they allow debt to grow out of control. The financial experts are paired with a family and stay with them for a period of time to really get to know what happens behind closed doors. What they have found has been eye-opening! So far, two shows have aired and the three families have had some major wake up calls. The next show will air on Friday, March 10 at 3pm and 9pm. On Oprah.com you will find a lot of helpful information on debt reduction and making a commitment to change. Although what I teach is somewhat different in execution, the same premise still remains... get out of debt! I thought you should know that the Queen of Daytime Talk has all of America looking at themselves to make changes. I think it is awesome and inspiring!
